Dear reader,

Like so many others, I too want to be accepted. I want to be useful. I want others to approve of my work. I want to be proud of my accomplishments. I want to be impressive.

That’s a short list of the things that motivate me, I could spend days coming up with a complete list of what drives me, and it would probably still be missing a few things. I want to provide some insight into why I like to build software. But really, it doesn’t have to be software, it could easily be anything else out there in the physical world.

Ultimately and above all, I want you to enjoy what I build. I want you to find it useful, beautiful, or fun. I want it to fill a void that you’ve been desparately needing to fill, or one that you didn’t know you had. The single thing that keeps me coming back everyday is building things for you.

The random ramblings of a software engineer trying to find the meaning in it all.
